At Lakeview Vets our professional team of vets and nurses care passionately about animals and treat every patient as a sentient being. They have the skills to provide a timely diagnosis and first-class veterinary treatment.
Alek graduated in 2013, and spent three years gaining invaluable experience in practice before joining the team here at Lakeview in August 2016.
Alek has a keen interest in surgery and has completed his certificate in small animal surgery.
When Alek is not taking care of the pets who visit us at Lakeview he enjoys mostly outdoor activities like travelling, exploring and going for long rambles with his rescue dog Bailey – Bailey can be seen posing alongside Alek!

Shahar qualified as a Veterinary Surgery in 2014, and spent the three years post graduation gaining extensive veterinary skills. His global experience includes orthopaedic surgery in Slovakia and general practice in both Israel and the UK.
Shahar enjoys all aspects of veterinary care but has a particular interest in general medicine and surgery. Joining the Lakeview team permanently in 2017 he is looking forward to meeting with you all!
When he is not caring for Lakeview pets Shahar spends time with his family enjoying the outdoor life in Deal.
Rita joined DNA Vetcare in July 2017 and has worked with animals her whole life! She trained in kennel management and dog beautician work before going on to qualify in July 1979.
Since then she has worked in many practices up and down the country, working with a range of species which include small animals, large animals and exotics such as lions and tigers!!!
Rita has a keen interest and is very experienced in surgery and nutrition.
In her spare time Rita works as a nurse for the kennel club at events such as Crufts and Discover dogs.
Michelle joined the practice in 1995 as a part time member of staff and became full time in 2005. She then qualified as an animal nursing assistant (ANA) and started up our breeders’ clinics.
She keeps improving the service provided and is in sole charge of the organization of these clinics.
In her spare time she enjoys the showing and breeding of dogs to a very high standard receiving the best of breed at Crufts in 2007. She is an accredited breeder.

Ali started her time with us as a work experience student and became a full time member of staff in 2001, and is now a qualified ANA taking on a variety of different rolls within the practice.
Ali has a dachshund called Slinky, her baby pixie and a french bulldog called Roxie
She has been riding horses since she was little and her daughters are now following in her footsteps.

Penny joined us in March 2007 as a receptionist and has since taken on the role of administrator and liaising with Animal Health.
She has been involved with horses for many years.
Penny enjoys her garden and spends many hours working outdoors.
Jane is the longest serving member of our team having joined in 1982!
Jane can be found smiling on reception most mornings with her beautiful dog Tizz.
Outside of work she enjoys taking Tizz for walks, outdoor life and horse riding.
Tizz is a familiar face at the practice who comes to work with Jane most mornings to help on reception.
Jane rescued her from one of the local charities a few years ago and she has become a valuable member of the team and is much loved by the clients.
